hi guys
ive bought myself a trunk bender....... a cheap one........
simillar to the one in the previous post. with a winding handle and 2 hooks.
i just want to know, what is the procedure for this.......
a.) do i bend it all the way i want it to.... and then its done and never use again...

i live in sydney and i need to buy a pair of bonsai scissors as a start.
i saw in a shop called BONSAI & BEYOND in balmain, they were selling it for 40$
i know that shop is expensive.
can anyone give me suggestions? im a bit low on the cash at the moment and wont be able to afford...

So im looking to build up a tool set. I know that I want them to be Carbon Steel.

I am guilty of abusing my large concave cutter by merciless trying to do a job for which a saw was probably indicated. I am left with badly misaligned blades which are sharp but do not perform the desired cut. Is there a way to fix this?

I have just purchased a new die grinder and was wondering what are the most common cutters that people use. I havent had any expieriance with them before, i understand that there are different cutters available for different purposes. What do you use?

Does anybody know of a "recipe" to make your own branch or trunk bender jacks?
The cheapest jacks I could find are around $11 for small and medium (around 2" spread), and $13 for large jacks (around 3"+ spread). This is what I am talking...

My brother-in-law took his tub back over the weekend, which means I cant dunk my pots anymore.
