A blog for those learning to appreciate the art of bonsai.

Happy New Year!

Last night I celebrated a late Christmas with Bonsai Buddy and received a beautiful Japanese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis) as a gift!

Tonight is our first Bonsai Club meeting of the 2006, and on the schedule is a hands-on demonstration about junipers! Randy Brooks will be sharing his knowledge. So, I will probably wind up purchasing a juniper tonight in order to learn hands-on. What this means is that an update to the site is due! I need to add some pictures of the new bonsai bench, current pictures of my trees (including the new ones!), as well as information from tonight's meeting! I hope to make these additions later in the week.
