Happy Holidays!

The move went pretty well, and my bonsai seem to like their new home! It's been crazy - packing, moving, and trying to unpack and find places for everything... while trying to get things ready for Christmas!

We didn't attend the December meeting of our bonsai club because it was a potluck dinner and auction -- I don't know the people well enough to be excited about eating with them, and I'm not quite ready to buy any "expensive" trees. We are planning to attend the January meeting to find out the schedule for the new year!

I was flattered to receive an email from a stranger, asking me my opinion on what sort of books, tools, etc. she could buy for a friend as a Christmas present. While I'm certainly not an expert, I made some generic recommendations and pointed her to one of my favorite online bonsai stores (can you guess which one?).

And finally, I'd like to wish everyone who's reading this a Merry Christmas (and/or the Happiest Holiday of your choice that occurs this time of year) and a wonderful New Year! I hope to be here and continue sharing my bonsai experience with you. See you next year!
