Butchering Trees...

Had a wonderful visit with Bonsai Buddy, where I was given the opportunity to butcher some trees with my new tools! A few months back, while looking through a bonsai book, I saw a picture of a Cape Honeysuckle (Tecomaria capensis), in a semi-cascade style, and I thought it was magnificent. Bonsai Buddy presented me with a Cape Honeysuckle today, already having begun its training! So I trimmed all three of my trees, and a couple of his! It was a great first experience at trimming.
