This tree is a 30 year old Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum) and is the "logo" tree for the Bonsai Societies of Florida (BSF). BSF was founded in 1973, and currently has about 800 members statewide. These members belong to 28 different organizations, and have provided the bonsai exhibits seen here. BSF has partnered with Disney for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival since its inception.
