Wilma

Well, I apologize for being away so long! Hurricane Wilma disrupted our internet service for a solid month! Fortunately, unlike many other South Florida residents, we had power and water within a few days.

And just after getting our power back, it's time to pack up and move. The apartment complex I live in has gone condo, so I'm relocating to a nicer place about 12 miles north effective December 1st.

And last week, while stepping out onto the balcony to water my plants, I twisted my back something terrible. I spent most of the weekend flat on my back in bed and in pain. What horrible timing!!!

Anyhow, I thought it was time for a little update. I don't think there was a November meeting of our local bonsai club because of Wilma, so there's no news on that front. However, last weekend I went to an awesome orchid show and wound up buying a few plants. I'll try to get some pictures up after the move!
